History of Doulton and Berkefeld
Though the name Berkey was derived from British Berkefeld, there is no connection at this time between Doulton (British Berkefeld) and Berkey, they are and always have been 2 separate companies. Berkey, like us, got their start selling British Berkefeld products in the late 1990's before creating their own line which they, Berkey Water NMCL, continue to this day to call Berkey.
